Railway Recruitment 2018: Apply for PGT, TGT and PRT posts; check eligibility, last date and other details here

Railway Recruitment 2018:  North Central Railway has vacancies for the posts of PGT (Post Graduate Teacher), TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) and PRT (Primary Teacher). The candidates are invited for walk-in-interviews for the posts under a new recruitment drive. The last date for submission of the application form is October 27, 2018. 

The candidates may visit the official website of North Central Railway- ncr.indianrailways.gov.in for details. These candidates will be engaged on part-time contact basis. There are 8 PGT teachers, 10 TGT teachers and 7 PRT teachers required.

Educational Qualifications For PGT: 
Two years integrated Post Graduate Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate.
 Or
Master’s Degree from a recognised university with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate with specified subjects.

Educational Qualifications For TGT:
Four years integrated degree Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
 Or
Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 50 percent marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate. 

For both PGT and TGT posts, the candidates should hold B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.Must be Qualified CTET(Elementary stage)/ TET(Upper Prim. Level) for all TGTs except TGT(Music/vocal) & TGT(PTI/male). Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
Desirable : Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Educational Qualifications For PRT:
Senior Secondary School certificate with 50 percent marks or Intermediate with 50 percent marks or its equivalent. D.Ed./B.El.Ed./B.Ed. or equivalent diploma/ degree from a recognized university. Must be Qualified CTET(Primary stage)/ TET(Primary Level). Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium. Desirable : Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Salary:
The selected candidates will be given Rs. 27,500 per month. 

How to apply:
The candidates should send the application form and attested photostat copies to the Principal, North Central Railway College, Tundla, District Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh.
The application form should reach by October 27, 2018.

Interview:
The list for interview will be displayed on North Central Railway College notice board on October 31, 2018. According to the notification, the PGT  interview will be held on November 1, 2018 at 8:30 am, while the interview for TGT will be held on November 2, 2018 at 8:30 am. On the other hand, PRT interview will be conducted on November 3, 2018 at 8:30.
