Railway jobs 2018: Railway Recruitment Board or RRB has invited applications for the posts of Technician and Group D positions. 9,739 Constables and Sub Inspector posts were announced for the RPF Recruitment 2018. Similar to this year, RRB had also announced nearly 90,000 posts for ALP, Technician and Group D posts, last year.

The process of application is ongoing and interested candidates can apply for the posts before June 30 on the official website: indianrailways.gov.in. Eligible candidates have to appear for written examination followed by a Physical Efficiency Test. 

Railway Recruitment 2018: Examination date: The examination dates for RRB Group D 2018 recruitment as well as RRB ALP & Technician 2018 exam are not yet released but are expected to be announced soon. According to the latest release by RRB, there is an interim delay in the examination dates. The notice available in the various regional RRB websites mentions that the delay in the announcement of the examination dates is due to large number of application received. The notice also says that around 2.37 crore applications were received for the two recruitments.

According to a report by Timesnow.com, the examination dates would be released after the actual number of applications are confirmed. However, according to sources, the exam dates for RRB Group D Exam 2018 as well as RRB ALP & Technician post 2018 would be released by end of July 2018.
On the other hand, media reports say that the examination dates are expected to be released before July 15 and the examination would be conducted in the month of September. Though no confirmation is there regarding the dates.
