Race 3 box office collection: Even as his fans wait in anticipation, the earnings of the latest Salman Khan movie are yet to be released. As with every Salman Khan movie, expectations of course are massive. Some have even sought to talk up the movie past the Shah Rukh Khan all-time record of Rs 45 crore that he inked with Happy New Year. The humongous movie collection number was logged at Rs 44.97 cr. It is yet to be beaten and Salman Khan's fans would love to see their icon put one over his bitter-turned-friendly Bollywood rival.

The analysts are projecting a different score. What they see as ground reality is a Race 3 collection day 1 of anything between Rs 30 cr to Rs 35 cr. Over the course of the next three days, Race 3 collection is expected to grow and take Salman Khan yet again into the exclusive Rs 100 cr club.

While all was well on the eve of Race 3 release, on the day itself, that is Friday, a note of caution was sounded first by the critics and thereafter, by trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The critics were not very generous while assigning stars in their reviews to this Salman Khan movie. Thereafter, Adarsh took to Twitter and posted this: "#OneWordReview... #Race3: DISAPPOINTING. Rating: ⭐️⭐️ All that glitters is not gold... Remo D’souza misses the golden opportunity!"

Nevertheless, Salman Khan has never been dependent on reviews and critics to ride to success time and again. He has been doing that for decades now in Bollywood. Most of his releases have turned into Rs 100 cr films and this time is expected not to be different.
