Race 3 box office collection: The star-studded film has become one of the largest revenue earners movies in 2018. However, critics and audience have given negative review of the movie. The movie has earned over Rs 120 crore in its first four days play and counting. The movie has slow run for another two weeks when Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Sanju releases.
Deflecting criticism, Boby Deol, one of the lead actors in the film, said the movie has connected with the audience. The Salman Khan-starrer action film amassed Rs 100-crore mark at the box office in its opening weekend despite criticism from the audience and critics.
"I am very happy that people have appreciated my work and appreciated everyone's work. We keep getting criticism, Boby Deol told PTI. The movie wouldn't have worked commercially if it was so bad, he said while speaking at the grand finale of Miss India 2018 on Tuesday. Deol said he was happy with the film's performance at the box office. He said when the movie was doing good business what else he can say.
Besides Salman Khan and Boby Deol, the movie also features known actors like Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor and Saqib Saleem. The movie can earn much more in the coming weeks. "Dont understand y Salman fans demean other stars stardom. We agree Salman is a megastar but he is nt d only 1. #Race3 will do max 180-200 cr on 4600 screens on EID. Hrithik bang bang did 180 cr in a clash, SRK dilwale 150 cr in 2500 screens with a clash. Ajay G4 200 with a clash (sic)," tweeted film critic Sumit Kadel.
Race 3 has crossed Baaghi2 (Rs 73.10 crore) and Raid (Rs 41.01 crore) in opening weekend collection.
