PM Modi applauds progress of Ujjwala Yojana scheme
Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) aims to safeguard the health of women and children by providing them with clean cooking fuel - LPG, so they dont have to compromise their health in smoky kitchens or wander in unsafe areas collecting firewood.
Ujjwala Yojna Scheme: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, April 7 hailed the impact of the Ujjwala Scheme on women and households by sharing a video.
“The way 'Ujjwala' has brightened up the lives of our poor mothers and sisters by making them easy, it is very encouraging,” the PM tweeted.

-Know Your Customer (KYC)
-Aadhaar Card of the applicant as Proof of Identity and Proof of Address in case the applicant is residing at the same address as mentioned in the Aadhaar (not mandatory for Assam and Meghalaya).
-Ration Card issued by the State from which application is being made/ other State Govt. document certifying family composition/ Self-Declaration as per Annexure I (for migrant applicants)
-Bank Account Number and IFSC
-Supplementary KYC to support the status of the family.
