The finance ministry is all set to engage in pre-Budget talks soon, days after the Narendra Modi government assumed charge for a third straight term following the 2024 general election.
Pre-Budget Meeting News: As the country awaits the first Budget of the Narendra Modi 3.0 government due this month, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is all set to engage in pre-Budget consultations with various stakeholders. The pre-Budget talks will likely commence on Tuesday, June 18, Zee Business learned from sources.
The development comes as the finance ministry is scheduled to present the full-year Union Budget for 2024-25 in the second half of the current month.
All eyes will be on the upcoming Budget of the government as it lay out the Narendra Modi 3.0 government's economic agenda.
Earlier, Zee Business learned from sources that the finance minister will present the full-year budget on July 22, with the monsoon session of Parliament set to commence on July 22 and end on till August 9. Read more on Union Budget here
