Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme: Farmers to get 7th installment on this date | here is how you can check balance through 5 easy steps

There is a good news for farmers waiting for the 7th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme. The government has announced the date when the amount/funds would be transferred in the accounts of framers.  This was informed by Prime Minister office (PMO). PMO took to Twitter on Friday to inform about the same.  

PMO took to Twitter and said, “Will also discuss issues related to farmers on the birth anniversary of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25.  That day another installment of PM Kisan Scheme will also be transferred in the accounts of crores of farmers together.”  

Notably, Under the Scheme, an amount of Rs 6000 per year is released in three 4-monthly instalments of Rs 2000 each directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.  

If you are also one of the beneficiaries of PM-KISAN Scheme, you can check your balance, once transferred, through these easy steps:
Step 1 Go to the official website of pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2 Go to ‘Kisan Corner’ on the homepage
Step 3 Click on the status
Step 4 New page will open up. Enter account number, Aadhaar number and mobile number  
Step 5 Click on ‘Get Report’. This will give you all the details you need to know.

If you have not got Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme amount in your account and it shows Fund Transfer Order (FTO), it implies that you will soon get the fund. FTO means the government has verified the information provided by you and soon the amount will be transferred in your account.
