Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always been at the forefront when it comes to the fight against climate change. Today, he reached Parliament to reply to the Motion of Thanks on President's address in the Lok Sabha while wearing a sky-blue 'bandhgala' jacket, made from recycled plastic. This jacket is not the usual one as it has been made from recycled PET bottles.

The jacket was presented to PM Modi by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) at the India Energy Week in Bengaluru. More than 10 crore PET bottles will be recycled to make sustainable garments for IOC employees and armed forces.
 
Under the 'Unbottled' initiative of Indian Oil, the Prime Minister on Monday launched the uniforms made from recycled plastic at the ongoing India Energy Week 2023 in Bengaluru.
