Fuel prices have been skyrocketing now for almost two weeks across the country. The common people have been adversely affected due to the relentless rise in fuel prices. The hike comes in line with the global oil market remaining stable but firm.

In the nation's capital, petrol price is Rs 90.58 per litre and diesel is being priced at Rs 80.97 per litre. Again, in Mumbai, petrol price is just Rs 3 away (Rs 97 per litre) from Rs 100 and diesel is being sold for Rs 88.06 per litre there.

According to the india.com report, executives from oil companies stated that there are chances that the fuel prices may rise in the coming days in order to balance the retail prices with global developments so that OMCs do not incur losses on the auto fuels.
