Parliament Inauguration: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Parliament building today (May 28). The new building was inaugurated with Vedic rituals and a Sarv Dharma prayer. During the ceremony, the Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states were also present. Apart from them, religious leaders of many religions offered their prayers during the Sarv Dharma prayer meeting. The PM also installed 'Sengol' near the Lok Sabha speaker seat. At the event, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla was also present with the PM. Gurus and people belonging to different religions worshiped during the Sarv Dharma prayer.

Religious leaders of many religions, including Buddhist, Christian, Jain, Parsi, Muslim, Sikh, offered their prayers in the all-religion prayer.
