Opening Bell Today: On account of strong global sentiments and positive FIIs, the indian indices opened in the green zone today. The BSE Sensex shot up 185 points and hit 39,259 mark while the 50-stocks NSE Nifty scaled up 55 points to 11,605 mark. Bank Nifty index surged 189 points to 23,602 levels. Realty, banking and finance, consumer durable goods and healthcare stocks were among the major gainers in the early morning trade session.
Speaking on the current market scenario; SEBI registered technical stock analyst Simi Bhaumik said, "The NSE Nifty has shot up above 11,600. Now, there can be some profit-booking at around 11,650 levels as it has strong resistance at this level. So, one should avoid taking any position here and wait for either breakage of the resistance or some correction after the profit-booking trigger."

Shares of Sunteck Realty, Oberoi Realty, Future Retail, Indiabulls Real Estate, PNB Housing Finance and Gillette India were among the leading gainers in the opening bell trade session while shares of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited or HAL, Indostar Capital Finnance, GIC Housing Finance, Minda Industries, Rallis India and TVS Motor Company were among the major losers in the early morning trade session.
Realty stocks led the bull run as the BSE Realty index shot up 2.60 per cent in the opening bell trade session. Realty major Sunteck Realty share price skyrocketed near 7 per cent, Oberoi Realty shares shot up 6.67 per cent, shares of Indiabulls Real Estate went northward to the tune of near 4.5 per cent, Godrej Properties stocks rose 4.61 per cent, Brigade Enterprises stock price soared 2.33 per cent while Sobha counter added 1.49 per cent.
Banking stocks continue to attract fresh buyers as the BSe Banking index went up around 0.87 per cent. Banking major IndusInd Bank share price soared 3.55 per cent, Bandhan Bank shares shot up 3.44 per cent, State Bank of India or SBI share added 1.10 per cent, Axis Bank and ICICI Bank shares added near 1 per cent.
Among the major Asian indices, the Japanese Nikkei 225 index dipped 0.43 per cent, South Korean Kospi crashed 0.64 per cent, Hong Kong's Hang Seng nosedived 0.63 per cent while the Shanghai index added 0.29 per cent.
At Wall Street on Wednesday, Dow Joens added 0.30 per cent, Nasdaq skyrocketed 1.73 per cent, S&P 500 appreciated 1.02 per cent while SmallCap 2000 went off 0.62 per cent.
