It is nothing short of a very good news for candidates looking for high teaching potential jobs! National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notification in which they have notified a Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) for 'only Assistant Professor' or for 'both Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor' between 02nd Dec 2019 to 06th Dec 2019. The candidates who desire to appear in the Test may see the details in the Information Bulletin for UGC-NET December 2019 which will be available on the website www.nta.ac.in , ntanet.nic.in and ugcnet.nta.nic.in w.e.f. 09 September, 2019.

The candidates are required to apply online during the period from 09 September 2019 to 09 October 2019. The Application Fees can be paid upto 10 October 2019. 
Submission of Online Application Form may be done by accessing the NTA website only. The NTA will conduct the next UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor between 02 and 06 December 2019. 

The Test will comprise of two papers namely Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be for 100 marks with 50 questions and Paper 2 will be for 200 marks with 100 questions in MCQ format. The total duration will be of 3 hours. 

Application fees:
The General/Unreserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 1000, Gen-EWS/ OBC-NCL category candidates will have to pay Rs 500 as application Fees and SC/ST/PwD/ Transgender candidates will have to pay Rs 250 as application Fees.

Steps to apply:
1. Candidates need to visit the official website and fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.

 

2. The upload scanned images of Candidate's Photograph (between 10 kb - 200 kb) and Candidate's Signature (between 4 kb - 30 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.

3. Make payment of fee using SBI_MOPS and keep proof of fee paid. 

4. Print the confirmation page after successful remittance of fee.

Notably, the Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.
