Noida Metro timings on 15 August 2022, Independence Day: The Metro trains in Noida and Greater Noida will run as per the schedule on the occasion of 15 August (Independence Day 2022). People traveling to Delhi, and Gurugram can travel by the Metro as there has been no change in the original schedule of Metro trains.

In view of Independence Day, a heavy contingent of police has been deployed at the Delhi-Noida border points and other areas of the city. Traffic movement, however, is smooth. 

Meanwhile, according to the Delhi Traffic Police advisory, the borders at Noida, Loni, Singhu, Ghazipur, Badarpur, Safia, Maharajpur, Aya Nagar, Auchandi, Surya Nagar, Rajokri, Dhansa, Apsara, Kalandi Kunj, Jharoda, Bhopura, Lal Kuan Pul Prahlad Pur and Tikri will be out of bounds for public and commercial vehicles between 10 pm to 11 am from August 13 to August 15.

Delhi Metro timings on 15 August (Independence Day 2022):

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has early notified that the metro train services will continue to run as per the normal schedule on Independence day 2022, August 15.

However, the parking facilities will remain closed at Delhi Metro stations from Sunday morning till Monday afternoon (2 pm) in view of security measures adopted for Independence Day.

DMRC tweeted, "Parking facilities will not be available at Delhi Metro stations from 6:00 AM on 14th August 2022 till 2:00 PM on 15th August 2022 in view of the security measures adopted on the occasion of Independence Day. However, the Metro train services will continue to run."

Independence Day: Roads blocked in Delhi  

Buses traveling to Kauria Pul/Red Fort/Old Delhi Railway Station will pass via ISBT bridge (Yudhistir Setu) and terminate at Boulevard Road near Mori Gate U-Turn, the advisory said.

All the buses terminating at Old Delhi Railway Station, Red Fort, Bhai Mati Dass Chowk, Mori Gate, ISBT, Pragati Maidan and Ambedkar Stadium Terminal shall terminate opposite Turkman Gate Asaf Ali Road instead, according to the advisory.

Buses heading towards Red Fort, Old Delhi Railway Station, Bhai Mati Dass Chowk (Fountain) from South Delhi will be diverted via Ring Road – NH-24, Marginal Bandh (Pushta) Road and new ISBT Bridge, and will terminate on Boulevard Road, the advisory added.
