No change in diesel prices today in India
Diesel was valued at Rs 62.15 per litre in New Delhi, Rs 64.84 per litre in Kolkata, Rs 66.19 per litre in Mumbai, and Rs 65.52 per litre in Chennai.
Just like petrol prices, the Indian state-owned oil companies decided to make no revision in diesel prices on Wednesday. Diesel was valued at Rs 62.15 per litre in New Delhi, Rs 64.84 per litre in Kolkata, Rs 66.19 per litre in Mumbai, and Rs 65.52 per litre in Chennai.
On February 27, diesel was priced at similar range in the above mentioned metro cities.
US West Texas Intermediate crude was down 41 cents, or 0.65 percent, at $62.60 a barrel by 0342 GMT, after falling 90 cents the previous session.
In the US, the world`s biggest oil consumer, rising crude stockpiles weighed on oil prices. Data from the American Petroleum Institute showed on Tuesday that crude inventories rose by 933,000 barrels in the week to February 23, to 421.2 million, said a Reuters report.
