The government has launched an online course “Anytime-Anywhere” to train, mentor and hand-hold potential exporters to help them tap overseas trade opportunities. The course has been funded under the ‘NiryatBandhu’ scheme of DGFT. The government has collaborated with the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade - New Delhi (IIFT-Delhi). On successful completion of the course, the candidates will be awarded certificates in Export Import Management under Niryat Bandhu Scheme.

The course is expected to help businessmen discover trade export opportunities through training, counseling and information sessions available on the DGFT office network. The course contents will be provided by IIFT. The candidates will be able to learn essentials of export-import business from the comfort of their homes through a Web-Enabled Live Transmission of the modules on their desktops. 

The participants of the course will also be able to interact with each other through an online discussion forum. On the forum, the participants can discuss their questions among themselves.

Each module has a learning material -- course content, review questions, case-lets, learning outcomes and references for additional reading. As trade is a dynamic subject, the learning modules will be updated by faculty of IIFT, New Delhi regularly, according to information available on IIFT website.

Union Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu also launched a Mobile App of DGFT, through which exporters can now log their grievances, apply for various licenses, view their status using this app, besides accessing information about latest trade notices, circulars, Foreign Trade Policy and trade fairs, a statement issued by the ministry recently said.
