NHAI, Maha Metro win Guinness Book of World Record for THIS Nagpur project; Nitin Gadkari hails
Guinness Book of World Records: Union Miniter for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has congratulated NHAI and Maha Metro for winning the Guinness Book of World Record award.
Guinness Book of World Records: The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MAHA-METRO) have created a world record for constructing the longest Double Decker Viaduct spanning with Highway Flyover and Metro Rail Supported on single column. The length of the Double Decker Viaduct is 3.14 km. The award was given to the project for its construction in Nagpur.

Gadkari informed that this project has bagged records from Asia Book and India Book as well. He said this eminent award is indeed a proud moment for India. He also thanked engineers, officers and workers for this incredible achievement.

The Union Minister also said that such development is the fulfillment of the promise by the Modi government on building world-class infrastructure in India.
