New Rules from today, November 1, 2023: At the beginning of every month, many new financial rules are announced that are related to price revision, correction, or regulatory changes. On November 1 (Wednesday), some similar rules will come into effect.

State-run oil marketing companies Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation have revised the prices of commercial 19kg LPG cylinders by up to Rs 101.5 each in the four Indian metros.
 
After the revised rate, a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 1,833 instead of Rs 1,731 in Delhi. In Mumbai, it will be available for Rs 1,785.50. In Kolkata, it will be priced at Rs 1,943, while in Chennai, it will be at Rs 1,999.50 per cylinder.

 

ATF price

 

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation have reduced the prices of aviation turbine fuel (ATF), or jet fuel, by Rs 1,074 per kilolitre.
 
After the revision, the price of jet fuel for domestic airlines stands at Rs 1,11,344.92 per kilolitre in New Delhi, Rs 1,04,121.89 per kilolitre in Mumbai, Rs 1,19,884.45 per kilolitre in Kolkata, and Rs 1,15,378.97 per kilolitre in Chennai.

 
GST challan

 

As per the National Informatics Centre (NIC), all businesses with a turnover of Rs 100 crore or more will have to upload the Goods and Services Tax (GST) challan on the e-challan portal within 30 days from November 1.

 
Tax deadlines

November 7 is the due date for depositing tax deducted/collected for the month of October 2023.
 
November 14 is the due date for issuing the TDS certificate for tax deducted under Section 194-IA, Section 194-IB, Section 194M, and Section 194S in the month of September 2023.
 
November 15 is the deadline for submitting a quarterly TDS certificate (in respect of tax deducted for payments other than salary) for the quarter ending September 30, 2023. It is also the due date for furnishing Form 24G by an office of the government where TDS/TCS for the month of October 2023 has been paid without the production of a challan.

 

BSE

BSE will increase the transaction charges on the equity derivatives segment, scheduled to take effect from November 1, 2023. These revisions primarily apply to S&P BSE SENSEX Options, specifically the nearest or immediate expiry contracts.
