Success has come quickly to the newly enhanced IRCTC e-Ticketing website. It was only on June 9 that, Indian Railways decided to revamp e-ticketing website Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) with various features, which will make train ticket bookings even easier going ahead. Railway Minister, Piyush Goyal tweeted through his official Twitter account saying, “There are many changes made to IRCTC's website by making various arrangements for the journey to the railways, website with many features such as train information, the possibility of ticket confirmation, payment options, payment options and more user-friendly.”
Today, the IRCTC through its Twitter account highlighted that more than 20,000 tickets were booked in a minute on the new website.
