Cars Submerged in Greater Noida Parking Lot: Cars in a parking lot submerged in flood water can be the last thing one can expect from a planned area in a well-organised city like Greater Noida.
Shocking visuals of around 300 vehicles being submerged recently grabbed the attention in the city's Eco Tech 3 area when a large parking lot filled with hundreds of cars nearly overflowed with water from the Hindon river.
The water level in the vast parking lot reached so high that only the roofs of cars were visible.

There was no way for vehicle owners to access those cars.
With water on such a vast scale, there is a high likelihood that the cars must have suffered huge damage.
The parking lot filled with water after flood water from the nearby Hindon River overflowed into the area.
Not just the parking lot, but water also entered the nearby localities, creating a lot of problems for the local residents.
Many areas adjacent to the Hindon River have also been affected in Ghaziabad as water entered the houses.
The problem of water entering areas such as Greater Noida on a large scale highlights the requirement for more effective flood management and the authorities' preparedness for the flood situation.
