Prime Minister Narendra Modi today, while addressing the Krishi Unnati Mela 2018 at Pusa agri complex in Delhi, said MSP for crops will be at least 1.5 times the production cost so as to boost farmers' incomes. He also revealed that the Centre is working with states to ensure that they get the benefit of the support prices. At the event, PM inaugurated the Jaivik Kheti (organic farming) portal and laid the foundation stone of 25 KVKs (Krishi Vigyan Kendras). He also conferred the Krishi Karman Award and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhaya Krishi Vigyan Protsahan Puruskar.
