Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a special meeting with central secretaries on Saturday evening, Zee Business learned from sources.
In the meeting, PM may discuss his administration's agenda for the current term including the 100-day plans of its various departments, the sources added.
The expected meeting comes roughly a month before the presentation of the Narendra Modi 3.0 administration's Union Budget for the current financial year. The July Budget will follow a Vote on Account - also known as Interim Budget - presented in the lower house of Parliament in February.
PM Modi returned to office for a third straight this month following a grand election process that went on for six weeks, from April 19 to June 1.
The Modi government has outlined its ambitious 100-day agendas across several departments, signaling a proactive approach to governance and addressing key national priorities.
These agendas encompass a wide range of policy initiatives and reforms aimed at accelerating economic growth, enhancing social welfare programs, strengthening national security, promoting sustainable development, and advancing digital infrastructure.
After being sworn in as Prime Minister for the third time, he signed his first file authorising the release of the 17th instalment, reflecting his government's commitment towards farmer welfare.
