Mumbai rains: Central Railway to build sluice gate, stop waterlogging
Despite continuous cleaning of drains, culverts and nullahs between Matunga and Kurla, this year too, waterlogging was there on tracks. Fact remains that the trains did not stop. However, waterlogging did slow down the speed and delayed services.
Central Railway (CR) will now build a sluice gate in between their drains on this belt to control the flow of water on rail tracks. Image source: Reuters
