Earlier on Sunday, the IMD shared daily updates about significant rainfall across various parts of the country due to active monsoon conditions.

As the ongoing and crucial monsoon season gathers steam, several states are experiencing heavy to very heavy rainfall, impacting daily life and local conditions.

In Madhya Pradesh, widespread heavy rains have been reported, with the possibility of isolated 'very heavy' showers. Coastal Karnataka and Kerala are also seeing substantial rainfall, which has led to flooding in some areas.

The heavy downpours have caused disruptions and posed risks to residents.

The IMD's forecast indicates that these intense rainfall patterns are likely to continue, with potential impacts extending to other parts of the country.

Areas already experiencing heavy rain should be prepared for further precipitation, and residents are advised to stay informed about weather updates and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.

The IMD has provided a detailed city and state-wise list to keep people informed about the weather conditions in their specific regions.
