Delhi Water Minister Atishi Marlena has directed an investigation into the supply of blue water in Peeragarhi, following a viral video of the incident.
The Minister has directed the Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar to convene an emergency meeting to address the issue and submit a detailed report by July 29.
Atishi has sought a comprehensive report on the matter by Monday, 5 pm, and has instructed officials to ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.
She also ordered an investigation into nearby factories to determine if they are violating pollution control standards and norms.
The move comes after a video showing the blue water supply in Peeragarhi went viral, prompting concerns about water quality and public health.
