After completing her education in electrical and electronics engineering and computer science, she embarked on a groundbreaking career, becoming the first female engineer at TATA Engineering and Locomotive Company (TELCO).

Sudha Murthy's personal life is as illustrious as her professional endeavors. Married to N. R. Narayana Murthy, co-founder of Infosys, she is the mother of two accomplished children. Her daughter, Akshata Murty, a renowned fashion designer, is married to British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
