MCX Alert: India’s largest commodity exchange – Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will be conducting a mock trading session on Saturday (30 May 2020) to familiarise members to use the new version of Member Admin and TWS, an exchange circular said
MCX Alert: India’s largest commodity exchange – Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will be conducting a mock trading session on Saturday (30 May 2020) to familiarise members to use the new version of Member Admin and TWS, an exchange circular said.
“MCX, vide its Circular no. MCX/TECH/373/2020 dated May 27, 2020, has informed that it shall be conducting mock trading session on Saturday, May 30, 2020 to familiarize members to use the new version of Member Admin and TWS,” the circular said.
“MCXCCL shall test the risk management and clearing-settlement systems during the mock,” the circular further said.
“Members may please note that trades resulting from mock trading on May 30, 2020 will not attract any obligation for pay-in and pay-outs. Members are requested to take note of the same and participate in the mock trading session,” the MCX circular said.
In a 27 May circular the MCX had informed members that it is planning to implement a new version of trading software (MCX TWS 11.8.3.x and MCX Member Admin 11.8.3.x) along with features and functionalities.
“Members are requested to note that MCX Member Admin 11.8.3.x is a compulsory download as part of this new version. Members who do not participate in the mock trading may find difficulty in trading when the new features are implemented tentatively on June 8, 2020,” the 27 May circular said.
