S&P BSE Sensex closes at 34,067.40 soars by 718.09 points or 2.15%. Where as Nifty 50 ends at 10,250.85 up by 220.85 points or 2.20%.

With the greenness in the Indian stock market S&P BSE Bankex Index is also trading positively currently trading at 27934.35 soars by 775.08 points or 2.85%.

But the eye catchy stocks on BSE Bankex are ICICI Bank trading at Rs 346.75 soars by 10.06%, Bank of Baroda at Rs 106.95 up by 8.14 %, SBIN at Rs 267.95 per piece up by 8%, PNB at Rs 70.90 up by 7.51% and Axis bank at Rs 563.65 grows by 4.89% at around 1452 hrs.

14:00 PM:  Century Textiles result above the expectations, Profit of Rs 286 crore of Q2FY19.

13:30 PM: Tata Power result of Q2FY19 above the expectations.

13:00 PM: There was immense uptrend in private lender Axis Bank share price, so much so, that it was among top performers on Sensex. Currently, the stock price is trading at Rs 569.45 up by Rs 31.65 per piece or 5.89% at around 13 hrs.The reason behind the rise was on due to execution stake sale in commodity services provider NSDL.

12:00 AM: ICICI Bank stocks rises further by 9%.

11:15 AM: Yellow and white metal rose today, Gold price today in mumbai for 24 carat is Rs 33,310 (10 grams) and 22 carat is for  Rs 31,260 (10 grams); where as In Delhi 24 carat is at Rs 32,910 (10 grams) and 22 carat is for  Rs 31,160 (10 grams).

Silver is at Rs 41300 per Kg in mumbai and same in Delhi.

10:30 AMToday’s trading session began on a very positive note for private lender ICICI Bank, as the bank was the top performer on stock exchanges. This was on the back of Q2FY19 result, where ICICI Bank turned from loss to profit, and lowered its provisions despite rise in gross NPA. This would also be first result of ICICI Bank without iconic chief Chanda Kochhar who had a controversial exit from the lender this month. At around 1017 hours, the share price of ICICI Bank was trading at Rs 341.10 per piece up by Rs 26.05 or 8.27% on Sensex. However, the bank has touched an intraday high of Rs 342.10 per piece resulting in nearly 9% gain in just few minutes of market opening hours. 

Darpin Shah analysts at HDFC Securities said, “Lower interest rate reversals and credit costs, improving margins and steady business growth cause us to improve our RoAA estimates to 1.4% over FY18- 21E. Maintain BUY with a TP of Rs 418 (2.0x Sept-20 core ABV of Rs 158 and sub-value of Rs 103).”

After the results the Bank's share rose up by 6.07% immediately at around 1005 hrs. 

10:00 AM: DivisLab share rose upto 13% after the Q2FY19 results. 

09:30 AM: Petrol price on the first day of the week in Mumbai is Rs 77.40 per ltr low by 0.21 paisa from the previous close, Where as petrol price in New Delhi per ltr is Rs 73.85 low by 0.2 paise.

10,000 and 24,500 are going to be the deciding levels on Nifty and BankNifty respectively. 

The small trading range on Nifty stands at 10,000-10,125 while the bigger and extreme ranges lie between the mark of 9,950-10,200 and 9,900-10,250 respectively.

In the case of BankNifty, the small trading range stands at 24,350-24,700 while the bigger and extreme ranges lie between the mark of 24,200-24,800  and 24,000-25,000 respectively.
