Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi says Amrti Kalash Yatra will be taken out during Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign, carrying soil and plants in 7500 Kalash from villages and various corners of the country will reach Delhi.
Mann Ki Baat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the 103rd edition of Mann Ki Baat. The monthly radio programme is aired on the last Sunday of each month. In this episode of Mann Ki Baat, the PM may speak on Manipur, which has been witnessing ethnic clashes since May 3. PM Modi cites record plantation of 30 crore saplings in a day in UP, says it's an example of public participation and awareness. He says "I am happy that one such effort is going on in Ujjain these days. Here 18 painters from all over the country are making attractive picture storybooks based on the Puranas. These will be presented in Ujjain's Triveni Museum"
PM Modi notes how this year, more than 4,000 women went to Saudi Arabia for Haj without a male companion. He thanks govt of Saudi Arabia for facilitating this.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi says "A few days ago, there was a craze across social media, America has returned us over 100 rare and ancient artefacts. These artefacts returned to India are from 250 to 2500 years old. These rare things belong to different regions of the country"
Modi says "One big campaign is going to be organised in the country, 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' to honour the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country. 'Amrti Kalash Yatra' will be taken out during this campaign, carrying soil and plants in 7500 Kalash from villages and various corners of the country will reach Delhi. 'Amrit Vatika' will be made from the soil and plants being carried in these 'Kalash' near National War Memorial".
