Mann Ki Baat: In today's `Mann Ki Baat` radio programme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that this time the program is very special as India will complete 75 years of its independence on August 15, 2022. He also said that `Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav` is becoming a mass movement, with people from all walks of life participating in the initiative.
"This time 'Mann Ki Baat' is very special. The reason for this is this time of Independence Day, when India will complete 75 years of its independence. We all are going to witness a very wonderful and historic moment. God has given us this great fortune: PM during #MannKiBaat," PMO tweeted.

1. Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav becoming Mass Movement
PM said that he is glad that `Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav` is becoming a mass movement, with people from all walks of life participating in the initiative to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Independence.
"Glad that the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is taking the form of a mass movement. People from all walks of life and from every section of the society are participating in different programmes across the country. #MannKiBaat," PMO tweeted.
2. Tricolour Profile Pictures
He suggested to all the citizens of the country to put the Tricolour as their profile pictures on social media platforms from August 2-15. He also requested to host the National Flag at home.
"Under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, from the 13th to the 15th of August, a special movement – 'Har Ghar Tiranga' is being organised. Let us further this movement by hoisting the National Flag at our homes. #MannKiBaat," PMO tweeted.
3. Ayurveda and Indian medicine
The Prime Minister noted that there is a growing interest in Ayurveda and Indian medicine around the world and Ayush exports have witnessed a record growth.

He also mentioned that initiatives like national beekeeping and honey mission are transforming the lives of our farmers by helping increase their income.

5. Powerhouse in Toys Exports
PM Modi lauded the Indian toy industry in the radio program for achieving the success that "no one could have imagined". He noted that the export has soared to Rs 2,600 crore from Rs 300-400 crore.
