Mann Ki Baat 100th episode date: To commemorate the occasion of the 100th Episode of Mann Ki Baat, new Rs 100 coin will be released. The coins will be minted under the authority of the Central Government.
Mann Ki Baat 100th episode date: Mann Ki Baat, a radio programme with Prime Minister Narendra Modi will complete its 100th edition on April 30, Sunday. To commemorate the occasion of the 100th Episode of Mann Ki Baat, new Rs 100 coin will be released. The coins will be minted under the authority of the Central Government.
"The coin of One Hundred Rupees denomination shall only be coined at the Mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government on the occasion of “100th Episode of Mann Ki Baat,” the official notification by the Ministry of Finance read.
New 100rs coin
The face of the new coin shall bear the Lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “Satyameva Jayate” (to be written in Devnagri script) inscribed below.
"Flanked on the left periphery with the word “Bharat” in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol “₹” and denominational value “100” in the international numerals below the Lion Capitol," the notification added.
This face of the coin will bear the logo for the 100th Episode of Mann Ki Baat.
"Consists of an image of microphone image with sound waves and year ‘2023’ is written on the image of microphone. ‘MANN KI BAAT 100’ in Devnagari script and ‘MANN KI BAAT 100’ in English are written above and below the microphone image respectively," the notification further said.
