This was Mahesh Babu's highest domestic opening so far. Another analyst, Ramesh Bala has termed the film's performance on Day 2 as "Sensational". He predicted that the film is "all set for a rocking weekend".
Bala tweeted that Maharshi's Krishna district second-day share was Rs 73,77,033.

On Day 1 in Nizam area, Maharshi's share was Rs 6.8 crore opening, according to Bala.
According to a report by Hans India, Maharshi has collected a total of Rs 9.67 crore in two days in the Nizam area.
As per a report by Filmibeat, Maharshi collected over $600K in the US on the first day. Till late Friday, it is reported to have touched the $900K mark.
At the Chennai Box Office, Maharshi is expected to have collected Rs 25 lakh on Day 2.

In Australia, Maharshi collected over $100K on the very first day. It was expected to have collected $120K on Day 2 in Australia.
At RTC X Roads, which is one of the major commercial centers in Hyderabad, Maharshi collected Rs 43,34,547 in two days, according to Hans India.
Maharshi is Mahesh Babu's 25th film. It opened to mixed reviews from critics and audience on May 9.
