Maharashtra TET Exam: The Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test ( TET) exam date has been announced. The scheduled date for the Maharashtra TET Exam is 19 January 2020. Successful completion of this Maharashtra TET Exam is mandatory for all those aspirants who want to become a teacher from Class I to Class VIII in Maharashtra government schools. The Maharashtra TET has already released the Maharashtra TET Admit Cards on 4th January 2020 in this regard. Those applicants who have applied for the Maharashtra TET Exam can download their Maha TET Admit Card by logging in at the official website of the Maharashtra TET — mahatet.in.

Maharashtra TET Exam will consist of two papers — paper one for those who wish to become a teacher from Class I to Class V while paper two will be for those who wish to become teachers from Class VI to Class VIII in Maharashtra government schools. The minimum eligibility to appear in the Maharashtra TET Exam Paper-1 is Diploma in Education while for Maharashtra TET Exam Paper-2, the minimum eligibility criteria are Bachelor in Education. An applicant is required to have managed at least 60 per cent marks to qualify for the test. Aspiring candidates for the Maharashtra TET Exam are advised to take their seats 20 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

Those aspiring candidates, who have already qualified the Maharashtra TET Exam can again apply for the test if they want to improve their score. After successfully qualifying the Maharashtra TET Exam, an applicant becomes eligible to apply for the Maharashtra government schools for the next seven years.

Maharashtra TET Exam Schedule 2019
As per the exam schedule, Maharashtra TET Paper-1 will be of two and half hours duration and the exam will begin at 10:30 AM. Maharashtra TET Paper-2 will also be of two and half hour duration and it will begin from 2:00 PM. Both papers have been scheduled on 19th January 2020. So, candidates are advised to download their Maharashtra TET Exam Admit Cards from mahatet.in and keep it with them while entering the examination hall.

1] Click at mahatet.in — the official website of the Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test;

2] Click at given 'Maha TET Admit Card' download link;

3] Enter your details like registration number, ID, date of birth etc.;

4] Click at the submit button;

5] Your Maharashtra TET Exam Admit Card will be open at the computer monitor;

6] Download and take a print out of it for future reference.
