Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, On Monday expanded his two-member ministry by inducting 18 ministers - 9 each from BJP and Shiv Sena faction led by him. On June 30, Shinde was sworn in as the chief minister and Devendra Fadnavis took oath as deputy CM.

The ceremony was held at the Raj Bhavan in south Mumbai at 11 am, with a number on Shinde and BJP supporters attending the event. 

From Eknath Shinde group -

Dada Bhuse, Sandeepan Bhumare, Udya Samant, Tanaji Sawant, Deepak Kesarkar, Sambhuraje Desai, Abdul Sattar, Gulabrao Patil and Sanjay Rathod took oath as a minister. 

From the BJP - 

State party chief Chandrakant Patil, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Girish Mahajan, Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Suresh Khade and Atul Save, Vijay Kumar Gavit, Mangal Prabhar Lodha, Suresh Khade, and Ravindra Chavan were administered oath of the minister by the Governor Bhagat SIngh Koshyari.

Earlier, CM had made seven visits to New Delhi in the last one month, and with every visit there was talk that the ministry expansion was round the corner.

Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly Ajit Pawar was also present at the event.

Talking to media, he said that "Fadnavis called me to inform and also invited me to attend the oath ceremony. I shall be present there,.
