Luka Chuppi Box Office Collection day 1: Kartik Aaryan film springs big surprise, earns Rs 8 crore

Luka Chuppi Box Office Collection day 1: Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon film has surprised everyone by surpassing the expert's first-day prediction. The film has collected Rs 8 crore on the first day at the box offices in India, told film critic and trade analyst Sumit Kadel to zeebiz.com.

"Luka Chuppi has collected a little more than Rs 8 crore on opening day. It has registered a growth of 30-35 per cent today," said Kadel.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh said that the Laxman Utekar film has sprung a big surprise on day 1 as word of mouth helped the movie register an impressive growth. 

"#LukaChuppi has superb Day 1... Springs a big, big surprise... Opens bigger than #Raazi [Rs  7.53 cr], #Stree [Rs 6.83 cr] and #BadhaaiHo [Rs 7.29 cr]... Strong word of mouth should ensure impressive growth on Day 2 and 3... Fri Rs 8.01 cr. India biz," said Adarsh.

Adarsh also said that Luka Chuppi is Kartik Aaryan's biggest opener ever.

Earlier, the film has received praise from all across the quarter. 

"#LukaChuppi is a WINNER. Very well executed Rom-Com film. @TheAaryanKartik @kritisanon performed exceptionally well, Pankaj tripathi delivers a HILARIOUS act. Strong writing & direction makes it very entertaining film for family audience.  Rating- ****," said Kadel in his review of the film.

Adarsh has also termed the film a winner.
