LPG cylinder price: 19-kg cylinder rate cut by Rs 83.5; here's how much commercial LPG costs now
Commercial LPG cylinder price: In Mumbai, LPG will cost Rs 1,725 per 19-kg cylinder from June 1. It will cost Rs 1,875 in Kolkata and Rs 1,937 in Chennai.
LPG cylinder price update: State-run oil marketing companies have revised the prices for commercial LPG and left domestic cooking gas rates unchanged. The prices for both commercial and domestic LPG cylinders are revised on the first day of every month. The new rates will be applicable from today. After the latest revision, the LPG price in New Delhi has been decreased to Rs 1,773 per cylinder of 19 kilograms (also known as commercial LPG).

Oil marketing companies last changed the prices of domestic LPG in May.
Currently, domestic cooking gas costs Rs 1,003 per 14.2-kg cylinder in New Delhi. In Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, the rates are Rs 1,029, Rs 1,002.5, and Rs 1,018.5 respectively.
The rates of LPG cylinders vary from state to state depending on local VAT. Domestic and commercial are the two categories under which LPG cylinders are sold in the country.
Domestic cylinders are meant for household purposes and commercial cylinders are used for commercial purposes such as the ones used for hotels, restaurants and industries.
