At the end of the sixth phase of the election, votes were cast in a total of 487 parliamentary constituencies, with 57 constituencies left for the seventh and final phase of the election. 

After the sixth phase, the election process in 20 states and seven union territories was completed, with only seven states and one UT left for the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections. 

In the sixth phase which was held on June 25, the overall voters' turnout was recorded at 63.4 per cent 25 which is far way lower than the voters' turnout in the first four phases. 

In the seventh phase of the election process, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Chandigarh will cast their votes on Saturday, June 1, to complete the voting process. 

According to the election schedule for the Lok Sabha elections, the counting date is scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, and will start at 8 am with counting starting with postal ballots and later shifting to EVMs.
