Lok Sabha election 2019 result live streaming Online: The wait is over and over the next few hours, we will get a clear picture of who will form the government in India. The counting of votes will begin early morning on Thursday and by evening, we will have an idea of the winner. All the major exit polls have predicted a clear win for BJP-led NDA. But, final confirmation on this may take longer than usual due to the usage of VVPAT in this year's polls. Delhi Chief Electoral Officer Ranbir Singh has said that the results could be delayed by as much as five to six hours on May 23. 

He said after the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) counting is over, the voter-verifiable paper audit trail (VVPATs) will be counted as per the Supreme Court guidelines. "From every Assembly constituency, five (VVPATs) will be randomly selected and they will be counted. There is a special VVPAT booth in every counting hall. It will take place in five rounds," Singh said.

As many as 8000 candidates are in fray over 542 constituencies this year. Singh said that every assembly segment had 200 polling stations and five polling stations will be selected randomly. This will delay the formal results.

The result could be out by the end of Thursday or Friday early morning. The Election Commission (EC) on Tuesday said a control room would be set up to deal with complaints related to Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) round the clock. "The 24-hour EVM Control Room will be made functional from tonight at Nirvachan Sadan to monitor complaints relating to polled EVMs," EC Spokesperson said on Twitter.
