'My Stamp' is a customisable stamps' option created by India Post.
India Post, on Friday, released the first 'My Stamp' for e-commerce featuring Amazon India to commemorate three years of its partnership with the e-tailer. Do you want your own personalised stamp? You can get them at India Post.
'My Stamp' is the brand created by India Post for customised postage stamps.
Here's how you can get them, in three steps:
1. Buy 'My Stamp' sheet: For Rs Rs 300, you can buy your 'My Stamp' paper and then fill a simple application form.
2. Photograph: To get your picture on the stamp, it should be free of any copyright restrictions. You can get photograph clicked and submit a hard/soft copy. The photograph can be of anything, as long as it doesn't violate any copyrights. It can be a family photo or a selfie too.
Corporate customers will have to submit an Order Form by an authorised signatory along with their application. They will have to order a minimum of 100 sheets. Company logos can also be printed on your customised 'My Stamps'.
3. Collect the stamps: The stamps will be ready in seven days and can be collected by producing the acknowledgement slip.
You can also appoint a receiver in case you are unable to collect it personally. The receiver should carry an authorised government ID along with an authority letter with attested signatures of the receiver.
