KVS recruitment 2018: For the positions of vice-principal, PGT, TGT and headmaster, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has invited applications for the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) 2018. Through a recruitment notification, the KVS has informed that BEd will be the minimum qualification for all the posts. The interested candidates can apply at the official website — kvsangathan.nic.in, as no offline applications will be accepted.

The candidates should ensure that their applications do not carry incomplete/incorrect information, otherewise, their forms will be rejected.

Earlier, the KVS conducted the recruitment examination for various non-teaching posts, including officer’s cadre and librarian, through online mode on February 19 to 23 and on February 26. 

The government through this novel initiative has decided to rank its over 1,000 Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV), a first-of-its-kind initiative, by holding competition among them.

Head Master
Designation: Vice Principal
PGT – Hindi, English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, History, Geography, Economics
TGT – Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Science/Biology, Mathematics, Social Science

Head Master: Aspirants should be PRT with atleast five years of regular service in KVS.

Vice Principal: Aspirants should have a master’s degree or have a five years of PGT experience.

PGT: Aspirants should have pursued post graduation/should be holding a master’s degree in the concerned subject with 50 per cent marks, besides being a TGT with three years of regular service in the KVS.

TGT: The candidates should have studied the requisite subject he/she is applying for.
