KGF Box Office collection: Record! 1st Kannada movie to release in Pakistan; earns whopping Rs 200 cr worldwide

KGF Box Office collection: It's a record for Yash starrer KGF as the movie has become the first Kannada film to hit Pakistani theaters. The Hindi dubbed version of the movie hit the screens in Pakistan on January 11. This is the most expensive Kannada movie with a budget of Rs 80 crore, and has already earned Rs 200 crore worldwide with Rs 100 crore in Karnataka alone, within 2 weeks of release.

This the fourth highest grosser of South Indian film industry following Rajinikanth's 2.0 and Prabhas's Baahubali series. KJF: Chapter 1 is a period action film and is directed by Prashanth Neel. The movie casts Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, and Anant Nag. Apart from the original Kannada version, the movie has also been dubbedin Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam.

KGF stands for Kolar Gold Fields and is the first part of the duology. The film narrates the life story of gangster Rocky's rise from rags to riches.
