Kesari Box Office Collection prediction: Ten years later when Akshay Kumar will look back at his choices of films, he wouldn't be too disappointed. The actor is on an experimental ride and despite that, is giving impressive results at the box office. This weekend, he is back with an action avatar - in a high-budget film - Kesari, directed by Anurag Singh with a budget of Rs 100 crore. The film is based on the Battle of Saragarhi fought between 10,000 invaders and 20 Sikh braves. Film critic and trade analyst Sumit Kadel told Zeebiz.com that the film will be released in the second half of March 21 in northern parts of India on account of Holi.

This may affect the first day collection of Kesari but it should pick up over the weekend as the word of mouth spreads. "The film may release on around 3,000 screens tomorrow. However, the count may rise to 3,500 screens depending upon the appreciation it receives on the first day," said Kadel.

He added that the advance booking for the film has not been encouraging and the opening day collection may not reflect up to its potential.

"The advance booking has not been encouraging for the film. The film may earn around Rs 15 crore is spot booking and evening shows go well. Otherwise, the collections may dip below Rs 15 crore," Kadel added.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh in his review termed the film as 'outstanding'.

"#OneWordReview… #Kesari: OUTSTANDING! Rating: ****, Chronicles a significant chapter from history brilliantly... Nationalism, patriotism, heroism, scale and soul - #Kesari has it all... Akshay’s career-best act... Anurag Singh’s direction terrific... Don’t miss! #KesariReview," said Adarsh.
