Kesari box office collection day 3:  The Akshay Kumar-starrer witnessed another good earning session on Saturday. The Anurag Singh directorial venture received a huge response from the audience. The film, based on the story of Sikh soldiers' valour, is full of heroism, patriotism, and valour. The storyline is about an unmatched battle between Sikh soldiers and Afgan tribes. Only 20 Sikh soldiers defeat the huge army of a couple of thousands of Afghan soldiers. This heroic story has gone down well with the audience. On the opening day of the movie, it collected Rs 21.06 crore in half day, as it was released in the later half of the day due to Holi.

On Saturday, the movie earned Rs 18.75 crore, after Friday's collection of Rs 16.70 crore. Sunday earnings may be better. According to film trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh, the collection may touch Rs 80 crore in India business by Sunday. So far, the film has earned Rs 56.51 crore India business.

The film is the biggest opener of the year. The trend this week will give a clear picture of how soon it will touch the Rs 100-crore mark. Given the occupancy rate, the target seems to be not very far.
