Kedarnath Helicopter Crash: Six people died in the helicopter crash in Phata, Uttarakhand, Abhinav Kumar, Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, was quoted as saying by ANI.
Kedarnath Helicopter Crash: A helicopter carrying pilgrims from Phata village in Kedarnath crashed on Tuesday afternoon. According to the news agency ANI, six people, including two pilots, died in the crash. The administration team has left for the spot for relief and rescue work.
"Six people died in the helicopter crash in Phata, Uttarakhand," Abhinav Kumar, Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, was quoted as saying by ANI.
The helicopter crashed near Garu Chatti reportedly because of bad weather.

"SDRF & district administration teams have reached the spot for relief and rescue work. A detailed inquiry has been ordered into this tragic incident," he tweeted.
