KBC 12: This man wins Rs 6.40 lakh by answering question on Ramayan? Do you know the answer!

KBC 12: TV show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' has begun and there is already a lot of buzz around it now. This game has been instrumental in changing the lives of the people, inspiring them to thrive and earn on the basis of their knowledge. Show host Amitabh Bachchan continues to be the biggest attraction in the show. 

This show has not just been the source of money but also served as a ticket to fame for many contestants. KBC 12 show is being aired now and one of the contestants from Rajasthan has not only won a handsome amount but also become famous for the answer that he has given. 

Raghunath Ram, a professional carpenter based out of Rajasthan’s Barmer district recently walked away with prize money of Rs 6.4 lakh. Ram who was sitting on the hotseat opposite the septuagenarian super star answered this question from Ramayana to win this amount. 

Bachchan asked this contestant what the name of Ravana’s sword was. If you know the answer, it is great otherwise see here the answer Ram gave for this question.  

When the super star asked, ‘Ram Do you have the answer to it’ he nodded in affirmative. 

The 34-year-old replied that the name of Ravana's sword was 'Chandrahasa'. Ram’s answer was a prompt one.  

While playing the game, Bachchan also asked about his life, to which Ram said that he could not continue his higher studies because of financial problems at home. He has been working as a carpenter for 19 years now.

His answer earned him Rs 6.40 lakh rupees in this edition of KBC 12. Unfortunately, he could not earn more as he opted out of the next question which could have earned him Rs 12.50 lakh. He had exhausted all his lifelines.
