JEE Main 2018 Result Live: The results of the Joint Entrance Examination, Main (JEE Main) has bee declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).  Formerly known as the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), the prestigious examination has this year witnessed the participation of as many as 14 lakh candidates. The students, who appeared for the JEE Main entrance exam to pursue higher education in technical courses, will be able to check their result at the official website - jeemain.nic.in. The JEE main exams were conducted online as well as offline. The CBSE will announce the JEE main 2018 result along with the mark in the NIC hosted websites, which are cbseresults.nic.in and results.nic.in too. 
 
The JEE main examination is conducted every year for students aspiring for their admissions into engineering and architecture courses in NITs, IITs and other CFTIs. This exams is also an entry test for the JEE Advanced, wherein, the top 220000 candidates qualify for taking the Advanced exam. The latter is held for admission to the esteemed IITs. However, right now lakhs of candidates are waiting for their  JEE Main 2018 Result.  
 
 Students can check the JEE Main 2018 Result in the following manner:
 
1. Students open click on one of the official websites, jeemain.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in or results.nic.in
2. On the homepage, they will find link for JEE Main Exam, click on it 
3. They will be redirected to JEE Main Exam result 2018  page
4. Now they can enter their registration number / roll number, name and date of birth. Click on submit
5. Now JEE Main Exam result 2018 will be displayed online on the screen 
6. Download and take a printout of the JEE Main result for future reference
