JEE Main 2018: Answers of Paper mode exams to be release last week of April 2018
Answers of both the computer and paper-based examinations are expected to be released during 24th - 27th April, 2018.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Sunday conducted offline or pen and paper mode of JEE Main 2018. The candidates appearing for offline mode attended paper 1 in the morning, followed by paper 2 in the afternoon shift during the day. According to NDTV report, about 10.4 lakh students have registered for JEE Mains in total.
The paper 1 exams was held betweem 9.30 am to 12.30 pm at different centres located in about 112 cities across the country and also abroad.
Candidates clearing paper 1 mode will qualify for admissions in degrees like Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.). Whereas, paper 2 makes you eligible for admissions in B. Arch. Course only in NITs/SPAs other CFTIs.
There was no compulsion for candidates to appear in both papers, they can appear in the paper of their choice. But there is no refund of fee.
Question sheets were bilingual like Hindi/English and Gujarati/English for candidates opted
Hindi or Gujarati medium.
The subject experts (who have prepared these question papers) certified the entire syllabus of
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in each question set by dividing the syllabus of each subject into appropriate number of units and choosing equal number of questions from each unit.
Further, in every question paper set, each subject carries the same percentage of easy, medium and difficult questions.
Reportedly, if a candidate is not satisfied with their responses given by organisers, they are can challenge the answers by filing an online application form - which involves fee of Rs 1000 per question. This fee can be paid using credit or debit card.
In computer mode, this examination will be conducted on 15th & 16th April 2018. The Board will use different sets of question papers on the different shifts on different dates of examination.
