Jawaani Jaaneman box office collection day 3: Saif Ali Khan and Tabu starerr Jawaani Jaaneman has managed to put up a decent opening weekend total at the box office despite competition from older releases like Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Street Dancer 3D, among others. The film had opened to Rs 3.24 crore on Friday and was trending well over the weekend, managing a total collection of Rs 12.83 crore in the first three days.

On Sunday alone, the film earned Rs 5.04 crore, up by Saturday's collection of Rs 4.55 crore. Notably, the business of Jawaani Jaaneman was driven by multiplexes in urban centres and collections in the mass belts remained week. The lifetime collection of the film will depend on whether it is able to survive on weekdays.

Apart from Saif Ali Khan and Tabu, the film also stars Alaya Furniturewala and Kumud Mishra in significant roles. In this film, Saif portrays a 40-something playboy whose life changes when his teenage daughter (Alaya) comes back in his life. Tabu is seen essaying the role of Alaya's mother in the film.

Meanwhile, Tanhaji continues to do well at the box office even in its fourth week. The film has managed to mint more the weekend than some of the newer releases. It has earned Rs 251.40 crore so far.
