Best way to deal with the Coronavirus Disease is to not fight with it but to dodge it, Spiritual Guru Jaggi Vasudev told Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi in an exclusive interview
The best way to deal with the Coronavirus Disease is to not fight with it but to dodge it, Spiritual Guru Jaggi Vasudev told Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi in an exclusive interview.
Commonly referred to as Sadhguru, Jaggi Vasudev said that the human body can be a carrier of the coronovirus infection and same as mosquito, mice or other creatures.
Sadhguru said that every citizen has to ensure that infection finds no seat on our body. He said that it was important to maintain distance or "social distancing" to achieve this goal.

He said that India as a country will do well if it dodges the virus instead of fighting it. He further said that in a country like India with over a billion people, "only a few" have been infected. He clarified that by only a "few" he meant a few hundred, which was a small number if the population of the country was taken in view. He added that avoiding the virus was the best strategy at this point-in-time.
Explaining what the lockdown means Sadhguru said, "One should avoid any fight with Coronavirus. In fact, my advice to Indians is to dodge rather fight with the Coronavirus." He said that in India where more than 1 billion people live, the number of infected people from the Coronavirus is few. Sadhguru said that it was the time to realise that COVID-19 virus uses our body as their transportation tool and this is the time when we make sure than there is 'no single seat' given to the Coronavirus to travel in our body. He advised people to maintain social distance in this lockdown.
"If we are able to do this, we will have done our jobs," he added.
On his advice to the investors as Coronavirus has hit the economy and investors very hard, Sadhguru said, "This is not the time to panic. After incurring losses, one should not get panic and get in the hurry mode to recover. An investor needs to understand that being alive is the utmost objective in this lockdown and rather fighting with the COVID-19 virus by making further investments, it's advisable to wait until the things get stable. It may take six months or maybe one year to stabilise, but one has no option but to wait for the things getting stable."
The spiritual leader further said that people who get infected with the virus will be adequately takn care of by the doctors and the people in the medical fraternity.
Thus, in an indirect way, Sadhguru gave the same advise that Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi has been giving to investors - #FasnaNahinHai.
Sadhguru established the Isha Foundation in 1992. The Foundation has been involved in various activities in the field of spirituality, education, and environment.
To ensure social distancing, the Narendra Modi led government has declared a nationwide lockdown for 21 days.
