Since summer holidays will start next month and people across the country generally plan a family trip during these vacations, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Tourism has come out with a tour package of five nights and six days to Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady and Kumarakom. According to IRCTC Tourism's official website, irctctourism.com, this interesting tour package comprising economy class of IndiGo airlines, will start from Ahmedabad on May 11, 2019, and added that the package tariff commences at Rs 28,475 per person.

The package, termed as "Enchanting Kerala", will cover destinations including Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, and Kumarakom in God's own country. Those who will opt it in Ahmedabad will commence their trip by IndiGo Flight Economy class on May 11, 2019. The meal plan includes breakfast and dinner from IRCTC tourism.

Travellers opting the package should know that the tariff is different according to the occupancy chosen by them, and for triple occupancy, they need to pay Rs 28,475 for the trip from May 11 to May 16, 2019. However, for single occupancy, one needs to pay Rs 40,780 per person; for double occupancy-Rs 30,164; triple occupancy-Rs 28,475. For the child (5 to 11 years) with bed, the charges will be Rs 25,277, and for child (5 to 11 years) without bed Rs 21,910 will be charged.

Notably, travellers for destination Cochin will have to board Indigo flight 6E-667 from Ahmedabad at 11:15 and it will reach at 13:45, while returning Indigo flight 6E-668 will commence at 15:35 in Cochin to reach Ahmedabad at 1800 hours.

According to the IRCTC tourism, the package includes accommodation at deluxe hotel, travel insurance, breakfast and dinner. However, the package wil not include items of personal nature like laundry, any kind of room services or entrance fees etc.
