IRCTC Ticket Booking Offer: The offer will be valid for journeys dated 19th January, 2nd February, 16th February, 2nd March and 23rd March.
Indian Railways had in December introduced a super deluxe Buddhist Circuit Tourist Train which covers pilgrimage sites associated with the life of Gautam Buddha. The new train offers an enhanced travel experience with dedicated dining cars, in-built library and sofa-seating in coaches. And now to increase the footfall on the route, the railways catering arm Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation is offering a discount of 50 per cent on one of the tickets for people travelling with their companions.
The offer will be valid for journeys dated 19th January, 2nd February, 16th February, 2nd March and 23rd March.
"On booking of the first adult ( also Child paying Adult Cost) at full cost, the second adult (also Child paying Adult Cost) travelling together will get 50% discount on the published adult Package Price. Offer valid till the date of departure and is subject to availability of berths," said the IRCTC.
However, the discounted fare will not be refundable.
"The payment for the 01st Adult will be as per the normal terms and conditions and for the 02nd adult availing 50% discount, will have to make a full non-refundable payment," said the Indian Railways arm.
